Terms of Service — Assort London
1. Who we are
Assort London, 81a Redchurch Street, London E2 7DJ, is run by Assort Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16044330), with its registered office at 4th Floor Office, 205 Regent Street, London W1B 4HB (“we”, “us”). VAT number: GB482313109.
These terms apply when you book or have a service at Assort London, buy products at the salon, or use uk.assort-hair.com. Please read them before you book. Our salons in other countries are run by other Assort companies, each with its own terms.
To reach us: customers@assort-hair.com.
2. Booking
We take bookings online through Fresha, our booking system. We do not take bookings by phone. Your booking is confirmed when Fresha sends you the confirmation. Fresha’s own terms cover your use of Fresha.
3. Cancelling, changing and running late
- We ask that you reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- Changes within 24 hours of the appointment time, and no-shows, are charged 100% of the booked service price. A valid card is required at booking; no deposit is charged upfront.
- All cancellations and reschedules are made through Fresha (https://www.fresha.com/appointments), our online booking system.
- Running late? 30-minute services hold your chair for 10 minutes, cancelled after 15 with no contact; standard services hold for 15 minutes, cancelled after 30; and services of 3 hours or more hold for 30 minutes — after that the booking is released as a no-show.
The charge covers the time we held for you, which we usually cannot fill at short notice. If it applies, we may take it from the card you gave when you booked. If we have to change or cancel your booking, you pay nothing.
4. Prices and paying
Our prices are in pounds sterling, include VAT, and are shown on our menu (on Fresha and on this website). The menu price is the price you pay, unless your stylist agrees an extra charge with you before starting. If your hair’s length or thickness, or the service you choose, needs an extra charge, your stylist tells you before starting, and we go ahead only if you agree. You pay at the end of your visit.
5. Your health and safety
Before your service, please tell your stylist about any allergies, any reaction you have had to hair products before, any scalp or skin condition, and any medicine that may matter. Before a colour service we recommend a skin test 48 hours ahead. For your safety we may change or decline a service.
6. If something is not right — your legal rights
We must carry out our services with reasonable care and skill. If you are not happy with a service, please tell us as soon as you can — at the salon or at customers@assort-hair.com — and we will look at it with you.
If we have not used reasonable care and skill, you can ask us to put it right; if we cannot, you can ask for some or all of your money back. These are your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in these terms takes them away. For free advice, contact Citizens Advice.
7. At the salon and on our website
Please treat our team and other guests with respect. Do not photograph or film other guests or our team without their agreement, misuse our website, or give us false details. If someone does, we may refuse or cancel their booking.
8. Our content
The text, photos, videos, designs and logos on our website belong to the Assort group or to the people who made them. You may view and share our pages for your own, non-commercial use. Please ask us before using them for anything else.
9. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Our services are for your personal use: we are not responsible for business losses. We are not responsible for delays or closures caused by events outside our control, such as severe weather or a power cut; if one affects your booking, we will tell you and offer a new time.
10. Your personal information
How we handle your personal information is explained in our privacy notice.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day you book applies to that booking.
12. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
